We met at De Anza College in 2009.

Kara was playing volleyball while Jesse was playing basketball.

We were introduced by Kara's teammate in between practices.

It was an on going joke between us and our friends that they would get married.

Ultimately: Distance, school, and life took over and we decided to remain friends.

In 2020, we reconnected and the rest is history.

We have two beautiful children together and legally became married December 2024.

Who would have thought our “joke” would become our reality 16 years later. We met when we were just kids and now we are so excited for our future and thank everyone for loving and supporting us on our journey.
